THE place for indian food….

Anyone who likes indian - you have to try this place! Awesome food cooked from scratch, at brilliant prices. If you are going to order take-away, be prepared to wait, but it is totally worth it. Seafood dishes like chilli crab, traditional curries and soups, and of course…pappadums. Everything is so fresh and well prepared.
We have never paid more than $60 for about 4 or 5 mains, and they are all huge servings, well enough for 6-8 people. They dont deliver, but are on plenty road so they are not hard to get to. A must if you like indian food that doesnt taste like it just came out of a jar….

Two restaurants on Station Street, Fairfield, called Himalayas and Everest come with my highest recommendation, also.
I will check these ones out when in the area… sounds good. Curry is a way of life.
Try “Saffron Cottage” in Tecoma/Upwey when passing through the Dandenongs in Melb.. nice cosy restaurant with lovely mountain views, great service and of course, delicious tucker.
Curryzma is good but I wouldn’t give it 4 out of 5. We used to go there frequently, when it changed its name to “Curryzma” but after a while we found the sauces for the dishes to be fairly similar. We now generally go to “Namaste” which is quite similar to Curryzma, but is closer to where we live in Bundoora. Namaste is just off Plenty Road behind Psarako Market on Nathan Court (Shop nO. 6)
